Currently, the list of second batchof National "Outpatient Demonstration Centersof Helicobacter Pylori Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment"was released, and Gastroenterology Department of Wenzhou Central Hospital was among the ranks of national demonstration centerssuccessfully, becoming the only provincial demonstration center in Wenzhou. Led by National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Diseases, the program is jointly implemented by Helicobacter Pylori Group of Chinese Medical Association Division of Digestive Diseases, National Alliance of Early Cancer Prevention and Control Centers of Digestive Tracts, and the Office of Prevention and Control of Helicobacter Pylori Infections and Gastric Cancers.
Helicobacter pylori (Hp for short) is the main causative factor of chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastric-mucosa-relatedtissue lymphoma, gastric cancer and other diseases, and is classified as a class I carcinogen of gastric cancers by the World Health Organization. The eradication of Helicobacter Pylori is of great significance to the prevention and treatment of the above diseases, and the key to the eradication of Helicobacter Pylori lies in the standardized diagnosis and treatment.
The Department of Gastroenterology of Wenzhou Central Hospital sets up a standardized Helicobacter Pylori diagnosis and treatment clinic, which has been committed to the accurate and standardized diagnosis and treatment of Helicobacter Pylori for many years, providing patients with standardized Helicobacter Pylori diagnosis and eradication of treatment plans, combined with endoscopic screening to improve the detection rate of early gastric cancers and pre-cancerous lesions.Meanwhile, it regularly conductsscientific knowledge lectures and volunteer clinicson Helicobacter Pylori, and regularly carries out the standardized and accurate assisteddiagnosis and treatment of Helicobacter Pylori in primary hospitals to help expand the publicity and promotion of knowledge about the disease, and actively participates in the Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Cancer Opportunity Screening and Early Diagnosis and Treatment Project initiated by National Health Commission, thus accumulating a wealth of clinical experience in the treatment of H. pylori and the prevention and treatment of stomach cancers. Through years of standardized construction, the disciplinary structure of Gastroenterology Department of Wenzhou Central Hospital and all kinds of special disease centers are improving day by day, and the ability of standardized diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases is among the advanced level in China.
The award of the national "Outpatient Demonstration Center of Helicobacter Pylori Standardized Diagnosis and Treatmentat the Provincial Level" is a recognition of the standardized diagnosis and treatment level of Helicobacter pylori in the hospital. As the only provincial-level "Helicobacter pylori standardized diagnosis and treatment outpatient demonstration center" in Wenzhou, the team members will further carry out Helicobacter pylori related basic and clinical research on this basis, strengthen the promotion of Helicobacter pylori related scientific knowledge, and comprehensively implement the "2030 Healthy China Planning Outline" Cancer Prevention and Control Implementation Outline to continue improving the standardized precision diagnosis and treatment of H. pyloriinfection in Wenzhou so as to improve the eradication rate of H. pylori and reduce the incidence of gastric cancers.
